Krinon ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Catholic prayer and Bible app.
Local-First Design
Krinon is designed with your privacy in mind. Your data is stored locally on your device:
- Saved prayers and verses stay on your device
- App preferences and settings are stored locally
- No account or login required
- Your prayer history is never uploaded to our servers
Data We Process
Device Identifier
We generate a random device identifier to track AI feature usage limits. This ID:
- Is randomly generated and not linked to your identity
- Is used solely to enforce free tier limits (5 quick summaries, 2 deep dives per week)
- Cannot be used to identify you personally
AI Features
When you use AI analysis features (Quick Summary or Deep Dive), verse text is sent to our servers and processed using DeepSeek's AI API to generate Scripture insights. The verse text you analyze is transmitted to DeepSeek for processing but is not stored after the response is generated. We do not store your queries on our servers after processing is complete. Subscription Information
Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat. We do not store your payment details. RevenueCat receives limited data necessary to manage your subscription status. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) for all server communications
- No storage of personal information on our servers
- Secure cloud infrastructure via Cloudflare
Third-Party Services
Krinon uses the following third-party services:
- DeepSeek: AI-powered Scripture analysis
- RevenueCat: Subscription management
- Apple App Store: Payment processing
- Cloudflare: API hosting and security
Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.
Your Control
You have full control over your data:
- Export your saved content anytime via the app's Settings
- Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
- Cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings
- Request information about data we may have by contacting us
Children's Privacy
Krinon does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages and does not require any personal information to use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
